Q:
Will there be an advanced class offered?
A:
Yes! We will offer advanced and online classes in the future. We’ll email you once these classes become available!
Q:
My original guest cannot attend anymore, may I bring someone else?
A:
Yes! Please send an email to info@indulgewineschool.com and let us know if the new guest has any food allergies we should be aware of.
Q:
Can you accommodate me if I have a food allergy?
A:
Yes! When you confirmed your registration there was a spot to list your food allergies, if you did not see that area, please send an email to info@indulgewineschool.com and let us know the class you are attending along with your allergies we should be aware of.
Q:
Will food be provided?
A:
Yes, each venue prepares some light appetizers that vary by venue. Typically, they provide a few cheese and olive trays along with crackers and bread.
Q:
My class is today and I would like to bring a friend, is it too late?
A:
Yes, because we have already given the venue a head count and paid for the confirmed number of guests.
Q:
I can’t remember the date I signed up for, can you help?
A:
Just email us at info@indulgewineschool.com with your full name and we’ll be happy to help you.
Q:
Can we stay for dinner?
A:
Absolutely! Most of our restaurant partners enjoy a full house at night, so when you arrive for the class you may want to let the host or hostess know you would like to get your name on the list for dinner.
Q:
Do you have to be 21?
A:
Yes
Q:
Where are the classes located?
A:
All our class locations and times can be found uner the “Schedule A Class” section of our website.
Q:
Is it ok to bring a friend?
A:
No problem as long as there is space available. Just register your friend through our site for your same class.
Q:
If bad weather comes in and the class has to be rescheduled how will we be notified?
A:
We will make sure to call all attendees ahead of time. That is the main reason we ask for your phone number at the time of your reservation.
Q:
Is there a dress code?
A:
We suggest business casual.
Q:
Do I need to know a lot about wine ahead of time?
A:
No! Come as you are this class is for those of all knowledge levels.
Q:
Do your instructors accept tips?
A:
Yes! In fact, just like you’d tip a server in a restaurant, you should tip your instructor accordingly. We suggest a gratuity of 15% to 20% of the cost of the class, or at least $10 per person. We highly recommend planning ahead for this and bringing cash with you as most of our instructors cannot accept credit card tips.
Q:
Is there anything I need to bring to class with me?
A:
No, just get ready to have some fun! It’s a good idea to review as much of the book we sent you ahead of time - A Fun and Informative Introduction to the Wonderful World of Wine - but it’s not necessary.
Q:
How long is the class?
A:
The wine 101 classes run at least 2 1/2 hours. Sometimes longer depending on how many questions the group has.
Q:
We are interested in having a private wine class for a party or corporate team building activity and were wondering if you offer anything like that.
A:
We certainly do! Our wine classes are a great team building experience. We have a 12 person minimum for a private class/team building event. Just email us at info@indulgewineschool.com and provide us with the following information: How many would be in the group? What location are you thinking of? What day/time works best for you?
