In our signature Wine 101 class, you will learn wine basics from a professionally trained wine expert including; wine history, how wine is made, wine components, wine and food pairings, proper glassware, how to properly store wine, and information about each of the six wines featured in the class. We should mention the wine again because we don't just taste you on any old cheap generic wine, but really GOOD wine!
All of our classes are held in private rooms at some of the best local restaurants in your area. There are only 15-20 students per class so there will be plenty of time to ask any questions.
Everyone also receives an electronic copy of our book, "Wine 101: A Fun and Informative Introduction to the Wonderful World of Wine!" that follows the class outline so you can refresh your memory after the class.

In our Wine 201 class, you'll learn all about the process of making wine: harvesting, destemming, crushing, fermentation, pressing, and final preparations to bottling. We'll cover oaked and unoaked Chardonnays, Rose, Rioja - French Oak, Chianti and Califorina Zinfindels. You'll leave with a much greater appreciation for how much work, passion, art and love goes into making a fine bottle of wine. We suggest taking our Wine 101 prior to taking this course as the instructor will be discussing some advanced wine terminology and concepts that require students come to class with a solid understanding of the basics of wine. While this is a more advanced class, it still will be a lot of FUN, as all our classes are! As with our Wine 101, you'll be enjoying some wonderful light appetizers and the ambiance of a private dining room.

To mix the best drinks at home for you, your family and your friends, you must think like a good dancer—to do it properly, you need to know how to twist, shake, and effectively remind your guests where to locate their head, shoulders, knees, and toes. Learn the cocktail hokey pokey with Indulge Wine & Spirit's Mixology 101 Course, a 90 minute course where student's learn the basics of mixology and how to make five fantasticly fabulous summer cocktails.
Helmed by a cocktail connoisseur and scholar of bar-side psychology, Indulge's Mixology 101 classes helps drink buffs to hone their concocting craft while pushing the boundaries of the country's resurging cocktail movement. During the Mixology 101 class, burgeoning bartenders learn the basics of flavor pairing and mixing techniques while mingling and celebratorily chest-bumping with other concoction-crafting enthusiasts. All the while, instructors cover a slew of libation-themed topics including drink ratios, the proper use of bitters, and the difference between stirring and shaking as they spin tales about the cocktail's rich history, including its role during the Prohibition era and the time it missed its callback to star in Sideways.
With approachable and functional concepts, students learn the ropes of merging fresh ingredients to craft shindig-worthy cocktails, practicing how to pour, shake, and strain spirits like professionals. Students also study the various dimensions of their palates, gleaning the principles of how alcohol bonds each sweet, sour, and smooth-talking flavor together. As students frequently get caught up in all the fun and might miss an important point or two from the instructor, we'll provide a recipe book for later reference.

The Book - Excerpt from the Introduction of "Wine 101: A Fun and Informative Introduction to the Wonderful World of Wine!": Ah, wine. Why is it that such a wonderful beverage causes so much anxiety in people? Come on, be honest...you're intimidated by it, aren't you? Well, join the club! Wine is, in my opinion, the most complex drink/food in the world. There is so much to know about wine, it's almost endless. Do you realize that as of this writing, there are only 180 people in the entire world that have earned the title of Master Sommelier (a sommelier is someone who has studied a great deal about wine and has earned wine certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers)? Those are the people that can taste a glass of wine and can tell you not only what type of wine it is, but what winery made it, what year the grapes where harvested, and likely what section of the vineyard the grapes came from. Crazy, huh? Take a look in your pantry and refrigerator. Do you see any other types of food and drink in there that requires years and years of study to master all the nuances of? Probably not.

What people are saying:
"What is wonderful about your book is that your passion comes through on every page."
- Rick Rogers, Bestselling author of more than forty cookbooks.
"What an easy and fun read! I laughed and learned about wine at the same time!" - Linda V.
"Thank you for making learning about wine less intimidating! Well done!" - Todd S.
"Full of information that I can actually use. I loved it!" - Amy C.

Beer is the world’s most universal beverage with an ancient history dating back thousands of years. It inspires connection and conversation across all geographical regions and all walks of life. Whether you are saying “Cheers,” “Prost,” or “Slainte” the sentiment is the same in any language.
Many people drink beer regularly but don’t know much about what they are tasting in the glass. Beer can be brewed with hundreds of ingredients in many different ways and it’s flavors can be as complex and nuanced as wine.
In our Beer 101 class, students will learn how the main ingredients and basic brewing processes affect the color, texture, and flavor of great beers. Guided by a beer connoisseur, you will be given a passport to some of the best brewing countries in the world and sample a range of beer styles from light to dark, subtle to complex. You will understand how to approach the sensory experience of tasting and and learn what beer styles appeal to you and why as you compare notes on your favorites with fellow tasters.
To enable further exploration and enjoyment of beer at home, the class will also cover beer and food pairing and all students will receive a beer style guide with tips on buying and serving beer as well as tools that make it fun and easy to choose new beers and styles to try.
Your beer drinking life as you know it will never be the same!
